Collaboration aims to enhance payment, digitisation, and financial technology solutions for merchants in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia

JAKARTA, Indonesia – February, 26th 2026 – DOKU, Indonesia's leading payment fintech company, today announced a strategic partnership with Ant International, a leading global digital payment, digitisation and financial technology provider, to accelerate innovation and inclusive growth of Indonesia's digital economy.

The partnership builds upon DOKU and Ant International's successful track record of collaboration since 2024, which has benefitted both local merchants and consumers. This includes enabling Alipay for Chinese tourists to be accepted by Indonesian businesses through the DOKU payment gateway. Through this deepened partnership, the companies will expand their cooperation across multiple business lines to support the digital transformation of Indonesia's payment and fintech landscape. DOKU will also join forces with 2C2P, Antom's subsidiary and a leading regional payment gateway, to provide the best solutions for merchants to scale in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia .

Empowering Indonesian Merchants

Initially, the strategic partnership will enable Indonesian merchants to expand their reach internationally by leveraging the global payment processing network of Antom, a leading provider of merchant payment and digitisation services under Ant International. DOKU will also leverage Ant International's ecosystem to empower Indonesian businesses to do business globally, leverage cutting-edge AI solutions, and for MSMEs to access digital growth and payment tools.

Conversely, international merchants will benefit from enhanced access to the Indonesian market through DOKU's trusted and comprehensive suite of local payment methods, including QRIS, virtual accounts, convenience store payments, and e-wallets, ensuring seamless transactions for Indonesian consumers.  

Beyond Payments: A Comprehensive Financial Services Platform

The partnership extends beyond traditional payment processing to encompass a broader range of financial solutions:

  • Global Payment Processing: Through collaboration with Antom and 2C2P, merchants in Indonesia will be able to process cross-border transactions seamlessly, making it easier for Indonesian businesses to expand into overseas markets. Similarly, the partnership will enable Indonesian payment options for global merchants seeking to expand in the Indonesian market
  • Multi-Currency Solutions: DOKU will work with Ant International to empower local merchants with sophisticated multi-currency transaction capabilities to facilitate international trade.
  • Lending and Treasury Management: The two companies will also explore opportunities to provide merchants with access to working capital and advanced treasury management tools.
